Role Overview We are seeking an experienced, results-driven, and highly organized Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of high-end projects, including Posm, podiums, pop-ups, windows and permanent projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee projects from concept development through execution and final handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, within scope, and in accordance with the highest quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, technical, commercial, and problem-solving skills, with proven experience managing complex projects within the construction, interior fit-out, luxury retail. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage projects from initial planning and design coordination through execution, completion, and final handover. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation strategies, and execution methodologies. Monitor project progress against established timelines, budgets, milestones, and contractual requirements. Manage and coordinate clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, progress reports, and timely communication on key developments. Oversee project financials, including cost control, budget monitoring, procurement planning, variation orders, and profitability. Identify potential project risks, delays, and operational challenges, implementing proactive solutions to minimize their impact. Manage procurement activities, including supplier selection, quotation evaluation, material approvals, purchase orders, and delivery schedules. Review and coordinate technical drawings, shop drawings, material specifications, design submissions, and other project-related documentation. Ensure all project activities comply with approved designs, client specifications, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and applicable UAE regulations. Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to monitor execution, resolve site issues, and ensure work is progressing according to the approved schedule. Lead project teams, delegate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure accountability across all project stages. Manage client approvals, consultant coordination, authority requirements, and other necessary project clearances. Oversee quality control, snagging, rectification works, and final project handover to ensure successful completion. Prepare and review project reports, progress updates, financial summaries, risk assessments, and completion documentation. Manage project changes and scope variations, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and assessment of their impact on cost and schedule. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to support long-term business growth. Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, operational efficiency, cost management, and overall team performance. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager within the construction, interior fit-out, luxury retail, or related industries. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning and design coordination through execution and handover. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, construction processes, fit-out operations, procurement, budgeting, and cost control. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant project management software. Strong leadership, team management, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, project schedules, and contractual documents. Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage project budgets, monitor costs, and protect project profitability. Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, local suppliers, subcontractors, authority requirements, and relevant industry standards. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to quality, client satisfaction, and successful project delivery. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field. Professional project management certifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2, are an advantage. Additional training or certifications in construction management, contract administration, cost control, or health and safety are desirable. Preferred Experience Experience managing high-end retail stores, luxury boutiques, podiums, pop-up installations, exhibition stands, and bespoke interior fit-out projects. Proven track record of delivering projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. Experience managing projects in the UAE, with a strong understanding of local market conditions and industry practices. Ability to balance design intent, technical feasibility, commercial requirements, and operational execution.
